Josh McDowell, P.E., S.E., Principal at Mackenzie

Josh is a Principal in Mackenzie's structural engineering practice and has over 25 years of experience in the field. Josh oversees the structural design for range of project types, including commercial, retail, and industrial facilities, and has been the lead structural engineer for many of Mackenzie's civic and public safety projects over the last 10 years. He also has extensive experience in seismic strengthening code compliance in structural assessment and remodel projects.

Matthew Tuan, P.E., Project Engineer at Mackenzie

Matthew graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a BS (2018) and MS (2019) in Civil Engineering. He has 5+ years of experience on a variety of project from industrial and e-commerce facilities to office and public buildings. Matthew is currently pursuing an online master’s in computer science in hope of leveraging today’s rapidly evolving technology landscape to further the structural engineering field.
