The YMF group has been visiting local Middle Schools and High Schools in the Portland area teaching students about what structural engineers do. Our visit includes a power point presentation and a hands on activity for the students to participate in. 

In the 2012/2013 school year 13 different members have visited 34 classes presenting to over 1000 students. We would like to increase this number for next year so if you are interested in getting more information or having a YMF member come visit your class please contact Seth Thomas or Ed Quesenberry.
